Meet the Deans

Dr. Glenn Sanford has served as the dean of the College of Human Sciences and Humanities since June 2021. His expertise focuses on philosophy of biology, philosophy of science, environmental and natural resources law, and public policy.

Dr. Shreerekha Pillai was appointed associate dean of the College of Human Sciences and Humanities in January 2023. As a professor of humanities, her teaching ranges across disciplines, from literature and women's studies to cross-cultural studies. Her areas of expertise lie in post-colonial, feminist, film, and carceral studies.
