NEW Student Housing Referral Program
Student Housing has launched a NEW Student Housing Referral Program! Here are the details.
For each UHCL student you refer to live on campus in Hunter Hall that completes and signs a 2026-27 Residence Hall Service Agreement, and does not cancel prior to the start of the fall 2026 term, you (and that student) will each receive a $250.00 housing credit on your student accounts. The referred student must not have previously lived on-campus in Hunter Hall. There is no limit to how many students you may refer. For example, if you successfully refer four students, you will receive a $1,000.00 housing credit on your student account.
To refer a student, simply send an email to housing@uhcl.edu with both your and the referred student's First and Last Name, and UHCL ID number. In the Subject Line, type "Student Housing Referral". All housing credits granted from successfully completed student housing referrals will be applied to student's accounts during the first two weeks of the fall 2026 term.
