On-Campus Housing Process

The On-campus Housing process is Open for the 2019 - 2020 Academic Year!

If you are interested in living on campus at the University of Houston-Clear Lake there are a few steps that you will need to follow.

General: Explore both of our on-campus housing options available to you - University Forest Apartments and our new residence hall, Hunter Hall. You may do so by reviewing information online and/or participating in tours of both facilities, as available.

  • If you decide to live in University Forest Apartments, please reach out directly to their office regarding leasing information.
  • If you decide to live in Hunter Hall (our new residence hall), please move onto Step 1 here.

Step 1
Log into the UHCL Housing System and begin completing your Housing Application. At the end of this step, you will be required to submit a non-refundable $200 prepayment fee. This is not an application fee, but rather this amount will be taken off your total housing bill for the 2019-2020 academic year. 

Step 2:
Once we receive and process your $200 prepayment (1 to 2 business days), you may log back into the system to sign your Residence Hall Service Agreement

Step 3:
Once you sign your Residence Hall Service Agreement, you will be able to move onto the final step in the process - Selecting a Room in Hunter Hall. You may search for rooms based upon view and floor. Once you select a room, you are finished with the housing process.

Starting on August 1, 2019, Student Housing and Residential Life will manually assign students who have not yet selected rooms/suites in Hunter Hall. 

Bed spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis, based upon your Residence Hall Service Agreement Signature Date.
