Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-led programming organization designed to provide a variety of educational, entertainment, recreational and traditional programs for students, by students. CAB’s goals is to enhance the student experience at UHCL by building programs that connects you to the university.
All students are encouraged to participate in CAB programs. If you're interested in planning and executing events, we encourage you to join the team. To be a member of CAB, you must be:
- A registered student, holding a minimum of 3 credit hours per semester.
- In good standing with the university.
- Attend a minimum of 50% of all scheduled CAB meetings.
- Be an active, committed member to your committee and the group as a whole.
Each CAB member will be assigned to a committee to help diversify programming. Committees are divided into two categories: internal committees that provide basic support functions for CAB and do not host or plan events (with the exception of the marketing committee), and external committees that conceive and execute all CAB events. Placement on a committee will take place after membership into CAB has been approved.
