Not sure where to start?
Students, faculty, and staff can engage with community and recruit Hawks for service opportunities with help from a personalized Service Learning Consultation. We provide:
- One-on-one appointments to identify service opportunities that match your needs.
- Collaboration and sponsorship opportunities for service learning and student engagement.
- Experiential learning to connect you and your class or group to external organizations and community partners.

Logging Service Hours in HawkLink
UHCL students can now track their service and volunteer involvement directly in HawkLink, powered by CampusGroups. This feature helps you document your contributions and ensures your campus group leaders can verify hours toward recognition and awards.
For Students
- Log in to HawkLink using your UHCL credentials.
- From the home page, open the "My Activity" (or "My Involvement") dropdown.
- Select "My Service Hours."
- Click "Add Service Hours" to enter details about your service activity (organization, description, hours, etc.).
- Click "Save." Your hours will be submitted for officer verification.
For Campus Group Officers
- Navigate to your group's page in HawkLink.
- From the dashboard, select "Member Success."
- Click on "Service Hours."
- Review pending submissions, click the description to view details, and check "Verified" to approve hours.
