Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
At this event, students, faculty, and staff give back to UHCL through projects that uplift and empower Hawks as agents of accessibility and positive change on campus.
In partnership with the Office of Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, this annual day of service celebrates the legacy of Dr. King as it relates to educational access and opportunity.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is held every spring semester. Contact getinvolved@uhcl.edu for details.
The Big Event
One Big Day. One Big Thanks. One Big Event. The Big Event is the largest one-day service project in the nation to simply say “thank you.” Through this annual community service opportunity, students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members show their appreciation to the community by completing service projects around the Clear Lake and Houston metropolitan area.
The purpose of UHCL’s Big Event is to help you develop a heart for servant leadership and reflect on your impact on the Houston community. We hope you’ll join us at the next Big Event!
The Big Event is held every spring semester. Contact getinvolved@uhcl.edu for details.
