MAPs Under Review

The following MAPs are currently under review. These include proposed changes to current MAPs and proposed new MAPs.

MAPs under the status marked "Committee Review" have currently entered the Shared Governance System. Members of the UHCL community may submit written feedback on proposed policy changes to the applicable committee during the committee's comment period.

Status Notes

  • "Committee Review" = Committee evaluation.  Committee recommendations shall be forwarded to University Council.  
  • "Legal Review" = Period where policy is reviewed by the Office of General Counsel to ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal laws and regulations and UHS policies and procedures.
  • "SME Review" = Period for Subject Matter Experts to review/update/modify the policy and seek approval from their respective Vice President.
  • "University Council Review" = University Council (UC) shall be the Shared Governance committee that will make final recommendations to the university president.
