The Building Maintenance team is comprised of skilled employees who perform such duties as plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair, carpentry and painting, and lighting. For services that cannot be performed by our in-house team, we coordinate with vendors to provide such services as re-carpeting, minor remodel or renovation services, and door and window repairs and more.
In addition, the Building Maintenance team coordinates with vendors for Emergency Generator testing and maintenance, elevator maintenance and repair, annual window cleaning and more.
Building Maintenance services provided in state supported E&G spaces are not billable. Building Maintenance services provided in non-state supported auxiliary spaces are billable to the department occupying the space. To request the use of an FMC vehicle, an Interdepartmental Vehicle User Agreement form must be completed and drivers must be approved and on the UHCL insurance.Submit a Work Request
