EIH: Equipment Coordinator
EIH is seeking a full-time Equipment Coordinator to assist our research and education team with a wide range of activities. The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair of field gear that support research tasks (e.g., vessels, trailers, outboard motors, vehicles, ATVs). Primary responsibility is ensuring all field gear is operational, safe, and available for use by research staff and students. Secondary responsibilities include managing the inventory of all EIH research assets, purchasing and basic maintenance of supplies associated with research studies, and training staff and students in the safe operation of boats and vehicles. Graduate & Post-doc Opportunities

University of Florida: Postdoctoral Associate in Marine Ecosystem Modeling
The Chagaris Lab at University of Florida is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to develop ecosystem models and analyses to support fisheries management decisions. The postdoctoral associate will have the opportunity to work on one or more high-profile projects, including: assessing ecosystem impacts of red tides on the West Florida Shelf; developing spatially explicit models to support management of Atlantic menhaden; investigating declines in reef fish abundance in the U.S. South Atlantic region; and coupling marine ecosystem models with ocean climate models.

The Woods Project: Summer Trip Leader
The Woods Project is looking for experienced volunteers to help lead trips. As a volunteer, your role is to supervise and mentor the students and to always be aware of safety concerns. Action for the Climate Emergency: Texas State Organizing Director
The Texas Organizing Director will work to advance the mission of Action for the Climate Emergency (ACE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to educating and activating millions of young people to end the era of fossil fuels, accelerate the deployment of renewable energy, and ultimately avoid the worst impacts of the climate emergency. This is a full-time, remote position based in the Corpus Christi or Houston metro areas.

TRA: Environmental Scientist I
The Trinity River Authority of Texas is in search of an Environmental Scientist I in their Technical Services and Basin Planning division in Euless. This position is primarily responsible for field activities and environmental data analysis. It is permanent, full-time, and requires the ability to make sound decisions under stress, to function independently or as part of a team, and to quickly learn and apply new skills. The environmental scientist significantly contributes to study planning efforts, preparation, and execution of field activities, as well as data management and analysis.

TSSWCB: Natural Resource Specialist IV: Conservation Planner - East Texas
The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board is seeking applicants for five (5) positions to serve as Climate-Smart Conservation Planners in support of the Texas Climate-Smart Initiative (TCSI). The TCSI is a statewide multiagency initiative lead by Texas A&M AgriLife Research that is seeking to incentivize climate-smart conservation practice implementation across the state. Funding for these temporary positions will terminate on May 29, 2028, along with the positions.
