Spring 2026 Schedule:
June 20 – Meet at EIH (North Office Annex 2) on the UHCL campus at 9 a.m.
Program Contact: Rowena McDermid.
EIH's youth birding club meets on the third Saturday of the month, January–June and September–December, at 9 a.m. for approximately 90 minutes of birding. The club is open to children aged 7-13 and their parents (or grandparents) interested in birds and birding—no experience necessary. We explore the beautiful UHCL campus and other local birding hotspots, such as Exploration Green. Along the way, an experienced birder and educator helps us discover the many bird species that live here and visit our region.
- Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children aged 10 -13 may be dropped off (there is a sign-in), but parents are welcome to stay if they wish!
Meetings are free.
