LyondellBasell Donates $6,000 to Support Environmental Education

October 19, 2015

LyondellBasell, one of the world's premier plastics, chemicals and refining companies, has contributed $6,000 to the University of Houston-Clear Lakes's Environmental Institute of Houston new community and teacher rain barrel program. The institute's summer nature camps and the Texas Envirothon will also benefit from the donation.

"This grant will allow us to expand our environmental impact by educating teachers and the community about water conservation and runoff," said Wendy Reistle, Environmental Education Program Coordinator for EIH. "We are very grateful for LyondellBasell's continued support of our established programs as well," said Reistle.
