Undergraduate
A Candidate Plan of Study or CPS is a degree plan that lists all courses required to obtain a degree. It is valid for 7 years provided the student maintains continuous enrollment. The academic advisor evaluates transcripts to determine satisfaction of upper and lower level business requirements. The student will receive the CPS via e-mail and should promptly acknowledge receipt by responding to the e-mail as directed. The academic advisor should be contacted promptly if the student has questions or concerns.
Graduate
All graduate Candidate Plans of Study are valid for 5 years except MHA/MBA which is valid for 7 years. The academic advisor evaluates prior course work to determine whether a foundation course can be waived. The student will receive the CPS via e-mail and should promptly acknowledge receipt by responding to the e-mail as directed. The academic advisor should be contacted promptly if the student has questions or concerns.
Faculty Mentors
Also identified on the undergraduate and graduate CPS is a faculty mentor. The faculty mentor can be a helpful contact for students with questions about the degree program or career considerations.
