Foreign Transcript Evaluation - Approved Evaluation Services (Optional)
Applicants to College of Science and Engineering Graduate Programs have the option to have their foreign transcripts evaluated by a credential evaluation service which is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). The transcript evaluation must include course by course grades, a grade point average calculation and indicate the diploma or degree conferred and U.S. equivalency. An original evaluation must be forwarded to the University of Houston-Clear Lake directly from the credential evaluation agency.
If you have not yet completed your Bachelor’s degree, an evaluation of at least seven semesters of coursework must be reflected on the credential evaluation. Upon arrival at UHCL to begin your program, you must bring in all official transcripts/mark sheets and proof of degree from your institution to confirm coursework and completion of the degree. A second evaluation will not be required.
