What Are Certiport Exams?
Certiport provides industry level certification exams for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification program, the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE), the Adobe® Certified Associate (ACA), the Autodesk Certified User (ACU) and Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP), the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User certification program, the IC3 Digital Literacy certification and the Certiport Business Fundamentals certification program.
How to Register
The Certiport tests are open to UHCL students and community. Candidates can purchase exam vouchers as follows:
1. From the Certiport website. Once the voucher is secured, the candidates must purchase the non-university proctoring session with the UHCL Testing Center to secure a date and time for their exam delivery.
2. From the UHCL Testing Center. This purchase includes a voucher with retake and the first proctoring session. When scheduling with UHCL Testing Center directly the testers will select the desired date and time for their test.
Both registration means described above are for on-site sessions.
Exams From Home
To test from home, once a registration is completed via one of the means described above, the candidates will reply to the uhcltesting@uhcl.edu confirmation email with a couple of dates and times that best fit their schedules, and the UHCL Testing Center staff will register the candidates for the online session. The UHCL Testing Center staff will communicate with the candidates to confirm the registration, and will send the candidates the testing link as it is received from Certiport, usually the day prior to their test.
The Exams from Home sessions are offered every hour from 9 a.m., with the last session at 3 p.m.
The exams are in high demand and seats are available 7 to 10 days in advance of a desired registration date.
The Exams from Home cannot be rescheduled with less than 72 hours prior to the test.
