Dr. Jones brings extensive experience in higher education focused on holistic student development and campus engagement. He joined the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2024 and currently serves as Director of the Center for Student Engagement. Dr. Jones holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership – Higher Education and a Master of Education in Higher Education – Student Affairs Leadership from Abilene Christian University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of North Texas. He is committed to fostering meaningful student experiences, leadership development, and a vibrant campus community.

Lupita brings extensive background in student success and advocacy. Her previous experience includes managing grants and diversity education programs at the University of Houston, where she supported low-income and first-generation students. Lupita holds an M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Mathematics from California State University, Sacramento. She is dedicated to empowering the UHCL community by fostering meaningful campus engagement.

Dr. Chamberlain brings experience in higher education supporting student success, transition, and development. He joined the University of Houston-Clear Lake in September 2026 as Program Manager for Leadership and Community Engagement. Dr. Chamberlain holds a Doctor of Education in Executive Educational Leadership from Houston Christian University, a Master of Social Work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is dedicated to empowering students through leadership development and meaningful community engagement.

Calvin Nguyen seeks to promote student success and enhance the student experience at UHCL through leadership development and positive engagement. He received his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology (2022) and a Master of Arts in Theology (2024) from the University of St. Thomas - Houston, Texas. He brings years of diverse experience to the Center for Student Engagement from leading impactful programming to creating lasting campus traditions.

She is passionate about fostering engaged communities and creating transformative opportunities for student connection and growth.
