I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kim Martin-Long as Interim Dean of the College of Education, effective June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026.

Most recently, she has been serving as Interim Dean of the College of Public Service at the University of Houston–Downtown. Her previous experience includes leadership roles at the University of New Orleans, Delaware Valley University, and Shippensburg University. Prior to her roles in higher education, Dr. Martin-Long taught in the Irving Independent School District in Texas for 14 years.
