Sarah Lechago, Ph.D.

Sarah Lechago is an associate professor in the Behavior Analysis master’s program
at University of Houston-Clear Lake. She serves on the advisory board for the Garden
Academy School in New Jersey and as a content specialist and ethics advisor for the
Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Dr. Lechago is the founder and director
of the UHCL Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) Verbal Behavior
Clinic. She is also the co-founder and co-director of the UHCL (CADD) Connecting the
Dots (CTD) program with Dr. Jennifer Fritz.
Dr. Lechago’s research interests include translational and applied research in verbal behavior, motivating operations, and staff training. She has been published in numerous journals, including The Analysis of Verbal Behavior and the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. She has served or currently serves on the editorial boards for The Analysis of Verbal Behavior, Behavior Analysis: Research and Practice, and the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Lechago and has also served as guest reviewer for The Psychological Record, The Behavior Analyst, and multiple other journals.
