Biography

Henda Y. Hsu is an assistant professor of criminology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He received his Ph.D. in criminal justice from the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY). Dr. Hsu was a law enforcement official in New York for several years. Dr. Hsu’s research focuses on crime and terrorism prevention, with a particular focus on unintended consequences of anti-terrorism measures. His other interests lie in criminological theory, time-series analysis, and policing. Some of his recent works have appeared in journals such as Justice Quarterly, Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, Deviant Behavior, and Terrorism and Political Violence.
