The University of Houston-Clear Lake’s pay plans are designed to assist with administration of its human resources policies and procedures related to compensation and employment actions. UHCL strives to attract, employ and retain a well-qualified work force through fair and consistently applied compensation and employment procedures.
The Office of Human Resources is responsible for the continued development and review of the university’s staff pay plans in accordance with the staff compensation policy. The university is committed to reviewing compensation every two years to ensure pay plans are within market range for similarly situated classifications.
