New Employee Benefits Deadline
You will be eligible for health insurance and basic life coverage on the first day of the month following you 60th day on the job and your eligibility for retirement participation will begin on the 1st day of employment. Please note that you have 30 days from your hire date to select optional coverage (dental, life, AD&D, disability, TexFlex, and other optional benefits). To obtain optional life and disability coverage you may be required to provide evidence of insurability if not elected during the 30-day period. Coverage is not guaranteed.
