Wendy Reistle is the Texas Envirothon Coordinator and Environmental Education Program Coordinator for the Environmental Institute of Houston. Reistle is also an adjunct professor at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and teaches Kids-U classes during the summer for the university.

Prior to joining EIH, Reistle taught high school chemistry and biology classes in Virginia and North Carolina. She has also taught environmental education classes at nature centers in North Carolina and California. Reistle is originally from Virginia and received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and a master's degree from North Carolina State University.
