Clear Creek ISD

Instructors:

  1. CCISD Field Experience course requirements and rosters are to be submitted to CPDT in a timely manner so names can be placed on a Spreadsheet for CCISD. Your rosters are then forwarded to CCISD along with the spreadsheet.
  2. Clear Creek ISD will continue to host Field Experience for the current school year by providing up to 30 hours per student (10 hours with up to 3 teachers).
  3. Application Window for Field Experience Observation Hours
    • August 1 – September 15 for Fall Observation Hours
      • Observations must be completed by the end of November.
    • January 1 - February 15 for Spring Observation Hours
      • Observations must be completed by the end of March.
  4. Our system allows submission of only one Field Experience Application per semester.  Please allow students time to know if multiple instructors will be requiring observation hours.
    • Students may include one attachment with multiple program verifications—instructor letters or course syllabus—to that application.
  5. Placements will be determined by Human Resources and the various campuses. There is a possibility that the number of students could be limited depending on the number of teachers willing to host observers in their classroom.
  6. It is requested that instructors limit the number of total visits to the campus. (Ex. 4 to 5 visits per student).
  7. Instructors wishing to place an entire class or even a large number of students, should contact humanresources@ccisd.net to seek approval before submitting their Field Experience Request to the CPDT office.
  8. Once notified by CCISD Human Resources of approvals via spreadsheet, instructors of large groups will then be asked to contact the campus principal to work out all teacher needs, placements and scheduling details.
  9. Instructors and/or CDPT Director should notify ineligible students.
  10. All visitors will be expected to comply with District Safe School Protocols, including providing their Texas Driver's License or Valid State I.D. and receive a Visitor's Badge to be worn on campus during their time on campus.
