As a professor of management, Dr. Wooten has tremendous industrial experience involving managing the corporate training and development function for a Fortune 500 corporation, as well as experience as a Vice Present and Staff Psychologist for the nation's leading career consulting firm. His research interests include organizational development, job loss reactions, organizational justice, ethics, and change resistance and readiness. He is currently Chair of the Administrative Sciences Department for the College of Business. He has published in such journals as The Academy of Management Journal, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Change Management, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Resource Management Review, and Organizational Development Journal.
