Biography
Dr. Robinson is a Professor of Marketing at UHCL. He received his B.S. from Louisiana
State University, M.S. from Purdue University, and Ph.D. from the University of South
Florida. His research interests include online education, marketing for higher education,
the use of technology, and organizational service relationships. His research has
been published in the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Personal Selling &
Sales Management, Journal of Services Marketing, Services Marketing Quarterly, Industrial
Marketing Management, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Journal of Marketing
for Higher Education, Marketing Education Review, Electronic Journal of e-Learning,
Journal of Educators Online, The International Journal of Technologies in Learning,
Ubiquitous Learning: An International Journal, College Student Journal, Journal of
Healthcare Management as well as numerous national conference proceedings.
Dr. Robinson believes that an essential part of his duty as an educator is to prepare
his students for their future careers. Therefore, it is a priority that he integrates
knowledge, practical experience, and socialization into the classroom setting. To
achieve this, he utilizes various learning situations modified to the students' unique
learning and mental development styles.
For Dr. Robinson, teaching is a great opportunity and a responsibility to make a positive
difference. As an educator, he aims to give students the tools to prosper in an ever-changing
and complex business environment. By incorporating real-world content, facilitating
active learning, and disseminating practical information, he helps build a solid foundation
for students to launch successful careers.
