Lisa B. Gossett, Ph.D.

Dr. Gossett is an associate professor and the program chair for Environmental Management. She worked as an engineer in a petrochemical facility before attending law school and practicing as an environmental attorney. She also worked as a contract attorney in a large, international energy company and more recently has provided volunteer representation in selected cases. Professor Gossett is active in local, state and national professional organizations, and served as secretary of the National Association of Environmental Professionals from 2005-2007. She teaches the required environmental law courses, as well as courses in environmental ethics, permitting, and international environmental law and policy.
