Accreditation
What Our Accreditation Means
Business schools with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation have met or exceeded the highest standards for business schools worldwide. We are proud to be part of an elite group to have earned AACSB accreditation for both our master’s and bachelor’s programs, and one of only 168 institutions with AACSB accreditation for its accounting program.
The AACSB Accreditation Standards challenge post-secondary educators to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.
Why choose an AACSB accredited school?
Fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide have earned AACSB accreditation.
- AACSB accreditation assures that the institution delivers quality business education.
- AACSB institutions have passed a rigorous peer review so you get the competitive edge.
- AACSB students receive excellent teaching through a relevant curriculum delivered
by the most qualified faculty.
When selecting a business school, choose a school accredited by AACSB International,
the world’s largest accreditation association for business schools. You will be proud
to have attended an elite institution where learning matters.
The Accounting Program at the University of Houston-Clear Lake has a separate accounting
accreditation from AACSB International. Only 168 universities from around the world
have both accounting and business accreditation. AACSB International accreditation
represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide.
