Your Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from UHCL’s College
of Education provides professional education in educational technology and instructional
design for people in diverse economic sectors, specifically teachers from preschool
to high school. The degree is available completely online (though cohorts can be formed
upon requests for a web-enhanced/face-to-face hybrid instructional environment). This
degree will provide you with an understanding of learning and design theories, models,
and instructional strategies. It includes hands-on work developing computer-based
training pieces.

The UHCL application is available online through Apply Texas. The online application is scheduled to close for Graduate students after the Formal UHCL Student deadline of each semester.
Applying After the Priority Deadline
New, non-degree seeking, and returning UHCL students applying after the deadlines above may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the appropriate graduate enrollment counselor for more information. A $50.00 Late Registration Fee or $50.00 Late Payment may apply.
