Students who complete the certificate may apply all certificate credits toward the Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice at UHCL.

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree.

Certificate Requirements

The Graduate Certificate in Criminology and Criminal Justice requires 18 graduate credit hours.

Students complete required graduate coursework in criminology and criminal justice, along with approved elective coursework. At least 12 credit hours must be completed at University of Houston-Clear Lake. Students would have the option of completing the certificate through online classes.
