Commencement Volunteer Sign-up
We are gearing up to celebrate our next class of UHCL alumni during the Spring 2026 commencement ceremony, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the NRG Arena.
Approximately 40 volunteers are needed for each of our two ceremonies, to help make this an enjoyable experience our students and guests won’t forget. Commencement volunteers will welcome families and friends to the venue, distribute programs, and direct guests to seats. They will also help students check in, assist graduates with robing, support students needing special accommodations, and assist with other needs that may arise. Please register by Sunday, Sunday, April 19, 2026.

- May 9, 2026, 10 a.m. Ceremony (COB & COE)
- May 9, 2026, 3 p.m. Ceremony (CSE & HSH)
Volunteers should consult with their supervisor about compensatory time earned for volunteer hours worked.
