To confirm that you start your UHCL experience off on the right foot, we’ve established the following to support transfer students just like you.

If you are newly admitted as a junior or senior, we will work with you to make sure that you select the right courses for your first semester at UHCL through our Mandatory Advising Program.

  • Mandatory Transfer Advising – We work with newly admitted juniors and seniors to make sure you select the right courses for your first semester at UHCL.
  • Transfer Credit Guide - Designed to assist you with determining how courses completed at other institutions will transfer to UHCL.
  • Transfer Advisers – Our advisers are specifically dedicated to assisting newly admitted junior- and senior-level students with the transition to UHCL.
  • Degree Plans – The Transfer Adviser will demonstrate how your transfer coursework will apply toward your degree plan and advise you on your first semester of courses at UHCL.
  • Resources – Learn how the policies of UHCL will affect you and determine how your previous coursework will transfer.
