STEM Programs
UHCL Programs that qualify for STEM OPT Extension
The Department of Homeland Security determines what programs can qualify for the STEM Extension. They publish them at DHS' Designated Degree Program List (PDF). This list is subject to change. The degrees that students have to qualify for the STEM Extension must be a bachelor's degree or higher. Associate's degrees do not qualify students for the STEM Extension.
