Biography

Dr. Enamul Karim joined the University of Houston-Clear Lake as a lecturer in Fall 2025, where he teaches both graduate- and undergraduate-level courses. Prior to joining UHCL, Dr. Karim worked as a software engineer at Control N Limited from 2016 to 2017 and later served as a Lecturer at Daffodil International University from 2017 to 2019.

Dr. Karim received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Fillia Makedon, a Jenkins-Garrett Professor at UTA. His dissertation, titled "An intelligent robotic system for multi-sensory cognitive fatigue detection to assist persons with paralysis in activities of daily living" focused on developing an adaptive robotic framework capable of adjusting its behavior based on users' cognitive fatigue level.

Dr. Karim completed his bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.
