Biography
I joined the University of Houston–Clear Lake in Fall 2025 as a Lecturer in Computer
Science. I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas,
where I am also a Ph.D. candidate completing my dissertation.
My work has been recognized with the NSDF Fellowship (2024) and the Intelligent Transportation
Systems (ITS) Texas Scholarship (2024) for contributions to ITS research and leadership
as President of ITS UTD. I also received the Best Teaching Assistant Award (2021)
from the Department of Computer Science at UT Dallas.
Guided by Benjamin Franklin's philosophy "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn", I emphasize active learning in my courses. My classes feature hands-on coding,
demonstrations, group discussions, and creative activities such as robotics and LEGO®
Serious Play to help students engage deeply with computational concepts.
