- Fall 2022 - Program Confirmation: Confirmed program will meet strategic goals and generate broad student support.
- Spring 2023 - Referendum Campaign (UHCL Student Referendum): Confirm student fee tolerance and launch referendum campaign to prepare for student referendum vote.
Fall 2023-Spring 2027 Timeline
If the above referendum passes, the timeline will proceed as follows:
- Fall 2023-Spring 2024: Solicitation & Design (UHCL Board Approval)
- Fall 2024: Bidding
- Spring 2025: Financing Approvals (State Legislative Approval)
- Spring 2025-Fall 2026: Construction
- Spring 2027: Building Opens
