Your transcript requests must be made in writing or submitted through E-services and must include your signature or electronic approval. All holds must be cleared on your student record before your request can be processed.

You will need to include the following information on the form:
- Your name while enrolled
- Telephone number
- Student ID or Social Security number
- The approximate date you were last enrolled
Include the full address or fax where the transcript is to be sent. To hold for final grades or degree posting, check the appropriate box. Final grades are usually posted within a week of the end of the semester; degree posting occurs approximately 6-8 weeks after the end of the semester.
We provide transcripts free of charge to all our current students and alumni.
Getting Your Transcript
Transcript requests are generally processed within five business days, unless you have a hold on your student record or you have requested that they be held for term grades, degree posting, etc. Transcripts are mailed via first class mail, unless you request an electronic transcript, so allow time for normal mail delivery. You may also pick up a transcript from the Welcome Center on the UHCL campus or the UHCL at Pearland Enrollment Services Counter where you make your in-person request.
Who Can Receive Electronic Transcripts?
We can send transcripts electronically to a select group of colleges and universities. If you are interested in sending a transcript to institutions on this list, please log into E-services and select the electronic transcript option when making an official transcript request.
