Biological Monitoring of the Tres Palacios River and Upper Tres Palacios Bay, Texas

Purpose/Objectives

The major objectives of this project were to provide a course-scale assessment of the following subjects along the lower Tres Palacios River, Texas: 1) characterize the fringe wetland community structure, 2) survey the bathymetry, 3) aquatic biological monitoring, and 4) visual survey for intertidal oysters.

Description

Provide a basic overview of the lower Tres Palacios River to the National Wildlife Federation to help inform potential biological and habitat responses to future freshwater inflows.
