Greg Knothe graduated from UHCL with a Master of Science in environmental science from the School of Science and Engineering in 2012. His thesis project was "The Influence of Urbanization on Streams: the Use of GIS Spatial Analysis to Study Land Use Influence on Fish Communities, Water Quality and Physical Habitats in Southeast Texas." While working on his degree at UHCL, he worked as a research assistant at EIH. Knothe currently works as a biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
