Sydney Walshak was a coastal ecology field technician intern with the Environment Institute of Houston's research team. Walshak is a senior at Texas A&M University at Galveston where she is double majoring in marine biology and marine fisheries. While at EIH, she worked on the EPA’s National Coastal Condition Assessment. In her free time, Sydney likes to paint with acrylics on canvas or spend time with her axolotl named Gilson.
