Biography
Dr. Lorie Batrez serves as the COE Program Director for the UHCLTeach program. She completed her doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Texas Southern University. Dr. Batrez has over 15 years of experience in K-16 education as a secondary mathematics teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum writer.
