The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides a wide variety of software to faculty and staff for their UHCL Windows or Macintosh computers. Full support is offered for most Microsoft applications and all internet browsers. Training can be requested if time and personnel are available. Limited support is offered for most specialty software.
Microsoft applications, browsers, and McAfee VirusScan are installed free of charge. Some specialty software are under contract and others must be purchased by the requestor’s department.

|Respondus Exam 4.0||Mac Win||This is NOT the software for Respondus LockDown Browser. This is the software used by faculty to convert Word documents and similar files of test questions into Blackboard-ready format and then upload those questions into Blackboard courses.|
