Dr. Boothe has trained and worked in numerous settings, including VA hospitals, where he completed specialty rotations in general mental health, spinal cord injury (SCI), and complex trauma/PTSD units; community mental health clinics dedicated to working with refugees and asylees from other countries; pain management clinics, and college counseling centers.  His approach to therapy consists of a clinical integration with psychodynamic perspectives (relational and contemporary object relations theories) as the dominant organizational frame. 

Clinical interests include working with disability and chronic health/medical issues, trauma, mindfulness, interpersonal and relational concerns, identity development/existential concerns, multicultural issues, and group therapy.
