What To Expect
Family Weekend is a cherished UHCL tradition that celebrates the partnership between students, families, and the university community. This year, we invite you to experience a vibrant, interactive day designed to showcase the collaborative support network that helps our Hawks thrive.
- Hunter's Carnival Cookout: Enjoy a relaxed outdoor cookout designed for connection and celebration, featuring
delicious food and a special University Welcome from President Dr. Richard Walker
as we honor our Hawk families and shared traditions.
- Hunter's Carnival: Play carnival games, participate in activities, and collect tickets for prizes! Enjoy
a lively atmosphere with music, crafts, and interactive experiences.
- Mock Classroom Experience: Sit in on interactive lectures led by UHCL faculty, offering a glimpse into academic
life at UHCL.
- Engagement Zones: Explore our interactive Blue and Green Zones, where families engage with student organizations, leadership opportunities, academic resources, and wellness services through activity-based experiences that highlight the collaborative support network behind every Hawk’s success.
