Homecoming and Family Weekend: April 12-15, 2023
Come celebrate everything we love about UHCL, and explore our growing campus at one of our newest campus traditions, Homecoming and Family Weekend! This event is open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni, their family and friends, and the rest of the community. Join us in creating an atmosphere that encourages all Hawks, past and present, to fly back home to UHCL!

The University Staff Association will be hosting Duck Races for all hawks to participate in! Come join us for some fun Duck Races in the Alumni Plaza and enjoy desserts!

Join the Campus Activities Board as they host one of campus' most popular events, Design a Hawk! They are putting a fun twist on this iteration by including more stuffed animals!

Recreation and Wellness Center Mac Gym
The Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will be hosting puppies and Pilates in the Mac Gym. There you will be able to destress by participating in Pilates and petting cute puppies!

The Campus Activities Board will be showing the movie, Chicken Little in the Hunter hall Backyard on Friday, April 14. Please invite your friends and family to come join us for the movie!

As part of the 2023 Homecoming & Family Weekend series, you and your family are invited to an Alumni Brunch! Connect with fellow alumni and learn about all of the recent and upcoming developments on campus, before heading over to the 32nd Annual Chili Cook-off!
Event is free to attend, brunch items will be served, and alumni guests will go home with a gift from the UHCL Alumni Association!

32nd Annual Chili Cook-Off
Campus Recreation Backyard
The Chili Cook-Off is UHCL's longest-standing tradition! The Chili Cook-Off will be held on Saturday, April 15 as part of Homecoming and Family weekend and will include chili tastings, food, music and fun. We will also celebrate Hunter the Hawk’s birthday at the Chili Cook-Off. This year, Hunter is turning 10 and we are going big! Come celebrate with us! This is a great opportunity to bring your family and friends to show them what UHCL is all about.
