The UHCL Art Gallery deeply appreciates your consideration for a charitable donation. Here's how your financial gifts can make a tremendous difference in the way in which the university can present stimulating arts programming that benefits students and the community.
- $2,500 sponsors an exhibition
- $1,000 funds a major educational program, such as a free screen-printing activity for children
- $500 funds a guest-lecturer
- $250 pays for the postage for exhibition invitations
- $100 lights the art gallery for a semester
- $50 paints the walls for an exhibition
Individual donors at the $1,000+ levels will be recognized as members of the leadership giving-group President's Cabinet, on the website and on all exhibition ephemera.

Join the UHCL Arts Council
Take your commitment to the gallery a step further and join the UHCL Arts Council, a group of patrons dedicated to supporting the educational mission of the university through the visual arts. Council members separate themselves from other donors in that they are asked to commit to volunteering at events, participate in bi-monthly Arts Council meetings, and help promote an understanding and appreciation of the UHCL Art Gallery, the university's Art and Design program, and the Art School for Children and Young Adults.
In addition to financial support, there are plenty of other ways to help the Art Gallery. We are always looking for volunteers, and we welcome all art enthusiasts, from students to members of the community. We can use your help in a variety of ways, including taking photos at public programs, or leading art-making workshops at educational outreach events. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to get involved.
