Personalized Advising

Academic advisors help them explore degree programs and chart a path aligned with their goals. Transfer and international students receive tailored two-step advising to ease the transition.

Exploring Majors

If your student isn't sure which degree is right for them, that's perfectly normal. They can start in Exploratory Studies within one of our four colleges. Our dedicated advisors will create a personalized plan and guide them through tools and resources to help them discover the major that best fits their goals and aspirations. Tutoring

The Writing Center and Student Success Center offer online and in-person consulting, workshops, and support for research and projects.

Career Coaching

Our Center for Career Development helps students explore career paths, find internships and jobs, and sharpen their resume and interview skills.

With 671 industry partners — including NASA, KBR, Texas Medical Center, and petrochemical giants like ExxonMobil — students gain access to internship and career opportunities.

We have over 80K alumni, with 100+ at NASA (including 10 astronauts) and some of the highest job-retention rates for teacher graduates in Texas.
