Testing Center
The Testing Center will be colsed for building construction March 23 - 31. For any questions, please contact us at uhcltesting@uhcl.edu.
The Testing Center offers placement testing (TSIA2, AMPT, CLEP, GRE/TOEFL), professional certification exams through PearsonVue, Certiport, Kryterion, MeasureLearning, ATi, Metro, and correspondence exams and local licensure through non-university proctoring. A complete list of all exams can be requested via email.
To reschedule a PearsonVue Test candidates must call as appropriate:

The Testing Center is proud to have achieved National College Testing Association (NCTA) recertification in December 2021. This important achievement aligns with the center's mission to support all UHCL's programs of study with recognized professional certifications, which along with a college degree validate students' readiness for the workplace, and their great value to a prospective employer.

Pearson VUE tests
TExES, GED®, CompTIA, AWS, Cisco, Microsoft and more. Registration and rescheduling for Pearson VUE tests is on the Pearson VUE website. To reschedule a Pearson VUE test, please contact PearsonVue directly.
GRE and TOEFL exams
Registration for GRE and TOEFL is on the ETS website. For additional information and to register for GRE please visit the GRE site www.ets.org/gre.
Certiport Certifications
Certiport exams (MOS, ACA, ACE, etc) are administered on site. Vouchers for Certiport exams are available for purchase on the Certiport website. To register for a Certiport exam at our location, please select non-university proctoring from the drop-down list on our exam registration page.

The Testing Center is a student-centered and community-minded department, that offers a wide variety of testing services in a secure, quiet and pleasant environment to assist students in meeting their educational goals. The UHCL Testing Center subscribes to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines for Post-Secondary Test Centers. The Center is also certified Pearson VUE, Certiport, ETS, MeazureLearning, Metro, ATi and Kryterion and provides a wide variety of professional certifications at all levels for students and community.
