In UHCL's Systems Engineering (SENG) program, you will prepare to develop, maintain, and operate systems critical to life, health, property, and the environment. The coursework for this program takes an interdisciplinary approach designed to prepare engineers who are knowledgeable in diverse systems engineering methods and management. The SENG program is an excellent avenue for non-engineering STEM graduates in fields such as mathematics, physics, and computing to acquire the expertise to take on engineering roles.

  • 3.0 GPA
  • GRE Total Score of 290 (140 Verbal + 150 Quantitative)
    
    • Can be waived if applicant has another grad degree (MS or higher) or based on relevant industry experience
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field including preparation coursework as listed in the catalog
  • Foundation courses: Math through differential equations, calculus-based probability and statistics, a programming language
