Focus your Literature Master of Arts from University of Houston-Clear Lake on studies about the literature and culture of the U.S. and the Americas. With the concentration in American Studies, you'll combine the study of the U.S. and, at your choice, other Western Hemisphere literature with coursework in disciplines such as History, Anthropology, Sociology, or Art History, which deepen your understanding of literature's relation to the culture in which it is created.
