The Freshman and Sophomore Advising Center at University of Houston-Clear Lake wants to help you accomplish all of your educational goals. While it’s crucial to speak with your assigned advisers to plan out the direction of your classes and career, you also might need regular assistance with your classwork on a day-to-day basis.

We’re excited to refer you and your fellow UHCL students to the following services and amenities as you strive to attain your scholastic dreams.

  • Alfred R. Neumann Library - Provides the people, services, information resources, and environment needed to promote teaching, learning, and the pursuit of knowledge.
  • Math Center – Offers tutoring for mathematics and statistics courses.
  • Student Success Center - Works cooperatively with UHCL students, faculty and staff to build and maintain learning support programs that are able to address the constantly changing needs of a diverse student body. Individual tutoring and academic coaching is available.
  • Writing Center - Assists students at any stage of the writing process – from brainstorming and development to organization and revision.
  • Career Services – Supplies crucial advice and direction for students and alumni requiring help with the job search process.
