Day of Mourning - Dec. 5, 2018

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff, 
 
Governor Greg Abbott has issued an executive order designating Wednesday, December 5, 2018, as an official Day of Mourning in honor of our 41st president, George H.W. Bush. The University of Houston-Clear Lake will remain open Wednesday for final exams. Only essential staff as designated by vice presidents are expected to report to work. Essential staff will be allowed another day off for observance within the week. Non-essential staff should log into P.A.S.S. and enter the day as “other paid leave.”
 
The university will resume normal operations on Thursday, December 6.
